About Us

Established under Article 59(4), Chapter Fifteen of the Constitution of Kenya, and the Commission on Administrative Justice Act, 2011, CAJ serves as a guardian of fairness and transparency. Our mandate is to address maladministration across the public sector and to ensure compliance with the Access to Information Act, 2016. By promoting accountability and good governance, we play a pivotal role in shaping a better future for all Kenyans.

Internship Opportunities

We are currently seeking candidates to fill the following internship positions:

  1. Legal Intern – Mombasa Regional Office
    This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience while working in our regional office. You will assist with legal research, case reviews, and supporting our efforts to ensure administrative justice.
  2. Legal Intern – Makueni Regional Office
    Join the team in Makueni and work on legal projects that address critical issues in public administration. This position provides insight into the legal processes that drive justice in Kenya.
  3. Human Resource Management Intern – Headquarters
    Based at our headquarters, this position is ideal for individuals passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture. Learn the intricacies of HR management while contributing to organizational excellence.
  4. ICT Intern – Headquarters
    Technology enthusiasts can bring their skills to the forefront in this position. Assist in maintaining and improving our ICT systems while gaining practical experience in the rapidly evolving tech field.
  5. Public Education, Advocacy & Corporate Communications Intern – Headquarters
    This role allows creative and strategic thinkers to develop campaigns, create awareness, and communicate the commission’s mission effectively to the public.
  6. Resource Centre Intern – Headquarters
    Assist in managing resources, organizing information, and ensuring the smooth operation of our resource center. Ideal for candidates interested in information management.
  7. Internal Audit & Risk Intern – Headquarters
    Develop your auditing skills by supporting internal reviews and contributing to risk management initiatives. This role is perfect for individuals with an eye for detail and a passion for accountability.

  • Hold relevant academic qualifications related to the internship position.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
