Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Technician Cold Drink Equipment is to ensure the effective repair and maintenance of Coca-Cola’s bottle coolers. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing productivity, maintaining efficient systems, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and contributing to the cost optimization of CCBA’s cold drink equipment across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Productivity and Artisan Utilization:
- Ensure that backlog (pending work) does not exceed 5% of repair requests.
- Complete an average of 4 cooler repairs per day.
- Dedicate 50% of working hours to actual repair activities (value-adding).
2. Efficiency Metrics:
- Maintain a Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) of less than 60 hours.
- Keep repeat repairs below 2%.
- Ensure that the Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) for coolers is greater than 2 years.
- Complete 100% Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on repeat repairs.
3. Cost Optimization:
- Prevent asset damage resulting from negligence.
- Maintain a repair cost per cooler of at least 1,800 Kes.
- Optimize cost to serve in alignment with previous year (PY) performance.
4. Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) & System Compliance:
- Achieve 100% compliance in the 3S audit for your specific area.
- Ensure 100% adherence to procedures and processes, with zero audit findings.
- Maintain zero customer complaints.
- Ensure a safety score of 100%.
Skills, Experience, and Education:
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience handling bottle coolers or similar equipment.
Education:
- Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a Certificate in Refrigeration / Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Refrigeration.
