1. Deputy Director – Supply Chain Management
Job Grade: D5 (3)
Number of Positions: 1
Terms of Service: Contract

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in supply chain management to enhance efficiency and compliance with procurement regulations.
- Oversee procurement planning, contract management, inventory control, and supplier relationship management.
- Ensure adherence to public procurement laws, policies, and guidelines in all procurement processes.
- Develop and implement best practices in supply chain management to support the organization’s objectives.
- Lead the procurement team in sourcing quality goods and services while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate periodic procurement audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with set standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in supply chain management.
- Membership in a recognized professional body such as KISM or CIPS.
- Proficiency in ERP and e-procurement systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
2. Senior Assistant Director – Corporate Communication
Job Grade: D4 (4)
Number of Positions: 1
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the organization’s corporate communication strategy.
- Manage public relations, media engagement, and crisis communication.
- Oversee internal and external communication channels, including digital platforms.
- Promote a positive corporate image through strategic branding and public awareness campaigns.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and information dissemination.
- Lead the development of newsletters, reports, and other corporate publications.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in corporate communication, with 4 years in a managerial role.
- Membership in a recognized professional body such as PRSK.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in media relations, content creation, and digital communication strategies.
3. Principal Aircraft Pilot (Helicopter)
Job Grade: C5 (7)
Number of Positions: 2
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable
Reference Number: KWS/03/2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain helicopters for wildlife conservation, law enforcement, and rescue missions.
- Conduct aerial surveillance, anti-poaching operations, and park management support.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with KWS ground teams to support conservation and security efforts.
- Train and mentor junior pilots to enhance aviation capabilities within KWS.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a helicopter rating.
- Minimum of 1,500 flight hours, with at least 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on helicopters.
- Certification in aviation safety and operations.
- Experience in wildlife conservation aviation is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
