Key Purpose
The Technician Cold Drink Equipment role involves repairing and maintaining bottle coolers, ensuring their optimal functionality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Productivity/Utilization:
- Maintain backlog of repair requests at <5%.
- Complete an average of 4 cooler repairs daily.
- Dedicate 50% of work hours to actual repairs.
- Efficiency:
- Maintain a Mean Time to Repair of >60 hours.
- Keep repeat repairs below 2%.
- Ensure Mean Time Before Failure is <2 years.
- Conduct 100% Root Cause Analysis on repeat repairs.
- Cost Optimization:
- Avoid asset damage due to negligence.
- Repair cost per cooler should be ≤1,800 KES.
- Keep service costs ≤ prior year benchmarks.
- SHEQ & System Compliance:
- Achieve 100% in 3S audits within assigned area.
- Zero findings during procedural compliance audits.
- Eliminate customer complaints and ensure safety score of 100%.
Skills, Experience, and Education
Experience:
- At least 2 years of work experience in bottle cooler repair.
Education:
- Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Certificate in Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering (Refrigeration Option)
