Role Summary
The Project Coordinator will oversee the comprehensive implementation of the C3-EWS project, ensuring alignment with the project’s goals and objectives. This individual will act as the central point of contact, coordinating all aspects of the project, including planning, resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, and reporting, while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for team members, facilitating communication between researchers, field teams, programmers, ICT specialists, and data analysts.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
Continuously monitor project progress against set objectives and make adjustments to strategies as required.
Organize and lead regular team meetings, preparing agendas and disseminating key outcomes to stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to funders, organizational leadership, and other relevant stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies. - Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
Coordinate with community leaders, healthcare providers, government representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and buy-in. - Oversee the allocation and utilization of financial, human, and material resources to ensure efficiency.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to build team capacity and ensure knowledge sharing.
- Manage logistics for field activities, such as data collection, community engagement, and stakeholder consultations.
Ensure that field teams have the necessary resources, including equipment and supplies. - Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, outcomes, and lessons learned for future reference.
- Work with the data analyst and other team members to monitor the performance and impact of the C3-EWS.
- Incorporate feedback into project planning for continuous improvement.
- Any other relevant duty as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Public Health, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
● Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, preferably in climate or health-related projects.
● Exceptional organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
