CREDIT ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Job Summary
Reporting to the Credit Administration Officer, the Credit Administration Assistant will oversee the entire credit administration process, ensure effective loans collateral securitization, and maintain a high-quality loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills to support the efficient management of credit operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the loans disbursement process, ensuring timely execution and accuracy.
- Monitor daily loan disbursements, verifying that all conditions of approval are met and postings are correctly recorded.
- Ensure proper loans security perfection, including reviewing and updating collateral records.
- Conduct daily monitoring of the performing loan portfolio to maintain optimal financial health.
- Verify and ensure full loan documentation compliance before disbursements.
- Prepare offer letters and generate comprehensive credit management reports for internal use.
- Compile and submit Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) data to the relevant bureaus.
- Maintain an accurate loan collateral register, ensuring records are up to date.
- Monitor and review insurance coverage for all loan securities.
- Ensure adherence to the terms and conditions outlined in offer letters.
- Oversee the progress of financed member projects to ensure proper use of funds.
- Coordinate credit administration functions with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth credit operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in finance, credit administration, or a related area.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with different levels of management and staff.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling credit transactions.
