Job Description
- Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
- Have full knowledge of the beverage menus being offered at the outlets
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Manage the stocks and setup for the bar in line with brand standards
- Create and experiment with new cocktail recipes to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor patrons’ alcohol consumption and take appropriate action to prevent over-serving
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food and beverage pairings are complementary
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and industry trends
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist in inventory management and placing orders for bar supplies when necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bartending experience required
- Diploma in Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- Current certification in responsible alcohol service
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes
- Proficiency in using bar equipment and POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Strong multitasking abilities and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated cash handling skills and basic math proficiency
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Excellent communication skills in English, additional languages a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Creativity and passion for mixology and craft cocktails
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, with a willingness to continually learn about industry trends
- Compliance with all food safety regulations and health codes
