Vacancy for Bus Conductors
We are seeking experienced and customer-oriented bus conductors to join our growing team. As a conductor, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers while maintaining smooth operations on board.
Job Description
- Collect fares from passengers using the designated payment methods.
- Assist passengers in boarding and alighting safely, especially those with special needs.
- Provide accurate travel information to passengers and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain order and ensure passenger compliance with transport regulations.
- Coordinate with the bus driver to ensure smooth trips and minimize delays.
- Handle any passenger complaints or emergencies efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness inside the bus.
- Report any operational issues or challenges to the management promptly.
Qualifications
Applicants should have the following minimum qualifications:
a) Be a Kenyan Citizen of not more than 35 years of age.
b) Be a holder Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education accreditation.
c) Have working experience in the Public Service Transport Vehicle Company or transport Sacco Licenced by NTSA.
d] Have a Valid Good Conduct.
e) Must demonstrate good communication skill in English and Kiswahili.
f) National Youth Service trained personnel have an added advantage.
g) Diploma graduates are highly encourage to apply.
Vacancy for Bus Drivers
CBS is looking for skilled and safety-conscious bus drivers to operate our fleet within the Nairobi Metropolis. If you have a passion for public service transportation and meet the requirements, we encourage you to apply.
Job Description
- Operate assigned buses safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Ensure the safety of passengers by adhering to traffic laws and CBS operational guidelines.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism while dealing with passengers.
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the management promptly.
- Assist in training new drivers on company procedures and safety protocols when required.
- Ensure the bus remains clean and presentable at all times.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during operations.
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
a) Be a Kenyan Citizen of at not more than 40 years of age.
b) Be a holder Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education accreditation with at least a qualification of C-.
c) Have a Valid Driving Licence for at least 5 years.
d) Experience with Public Service passenger bus vehicle in Nairobi Metropolis.
e) Have a Valid Good Conduct Certificate.
f) Must be NTSA accredited with a valid PSV Licence.
8) Must have an accident free record.
h) National Youth Service trained personnel have an added advantage.
