Job Summary
Our Future Talent Program is designed to equip young engineers with the knowledge, skills, and experience required to become the next generation of leaders in the industry. As a Future Talent: Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our Projects team, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to innovative solutions.
This role offers a challenging and rewarding experience with the freedom to work independently within a supportive environment. You will report to the Engineering Manager based in Nairobi, Kenya, and work closely with mentors and colleagues to develop your expertise.
What You Will Do
As a Future Talent: Process Engineer, you will:
- Develop basic technical solutions in L0-L2 projects, including project documentation, design specifications, and drawings.
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to discuss engineering requirements in L0-L2 projects.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project milestones.
- Utilize reusable solutions and standardized processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Participate in validation and review of technical solutions within engineering projects.
- Engage in lessons learned sessions and provide feedback to improve processes, templates, and tools.
- Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak, upholding the company’s values and standards in all interactions.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:
- A technical degree in Engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience in project or product knowledge, including familiarity with standards, guidelines, tools, and methods for process design.
- English language proficiency.
- A willingness to travel up to 50% of their working time.
