Reporting To: Head of Alumni and Partner Relations – Strathmore Business School
Job Purpose
The Partnership Manager will support the Head of Alumni and Partner Relations in developing and implementing strong partnerships for SBS. Additionally, the role involves supporting the department’s efforts in implementing the internationalization strategy within the Business School.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnerships
- Develop and manage institutional partnerships and collaborations across various departments and research hubs to advance the international agenda of the Business School.
2. International Collaboration
- Assist in the development of strategic alliances and manage international partnerships that align with the Business School’s mission and vision.
- Collaborate with various departments and research hubs to strengthen the institution’s internationalization efforts.
3. Global Profile Development
- Enhance the global presence of Strathmore University Business School through various channels such as the website, stakeholder visits, media coverage, events, and international conferences.
4. Events Management
- Lead partnership-related special projects, assignments, and events.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and post-event processes to ensure successful stakeholder engagement.
5. Administrative Coordination
- Work closely with representatives from research hubs and departments to manage an ongoing schedule of stakeholder visits.
- Coordinate international visits by students, faculty, and delegations representing SBS.
6. Operations Management
- Ensure that partnership and internationalization strategies are integrated into all Business School activities by collaborating with heads of departments and the university’s internationalization office.
7. Monitoring and Evaluation
- Conduct regular assessments of existing partnerships.
- Maintain a robust database to track partnerships and advise the institution on necessary actions such as renewals or terminations.
8. Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, ensuring alignment with the mission and vision of Strathmore University Business School.
