Are you passionate about sustainability and looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? Our client, a leader in bioenergy, is seeking a Used Cooking Oil (UCO) Collection Coordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in business development and field operations to contribute to a cleaner, greener future.
About the Role
Used Cooking Oil (UCO) is a byproduct generated after vegetable oils have been used for cooking, rendering them unfit for reuse. The three primary sources of UCO include:
- Industrial: Food processing facilities
- Commercial (HoReCa): Hotels, Restaurants, and Caterers
- Domestic: Households
The collection of UCO typically follows a structured approach, involving door-to-door pickups from various sources, with volumes ranging from 50 liters to 1,000 liters per collection. To support these initiatives, we are looking for a Field Coordinator to drive UCO collection efforts in designated areas across Kenya.
