The MA program in “African Sustainable Communities” (2025-2026) at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel is now open for applications.
This program focuses on key challenges and opportunities across Africa in the 21st century, offering courses in history, politics, sociology, economics, critical development studies, and cultural studies.
Students participate in field trips, professional skills training, and close engagement with faculty.
After one year at BGU, students undertake individual research or community development projects in Africa.
