Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips more than 4 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa’s farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services.

About the Role
You will oversee all logistics activities at Tupande Warehouses. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing input reception, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution of inputs while ensuring seamless processing of warranty claims.
This role is integral to maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing storage and retrieval processes, and ensuring warranty claims are processed efficiently to uphold product standards and client satisfaction. You will be a part of the Logistics Department and will report directly to the Logistics Program Manager. This role is based in Kakamega, Kenya and is hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory reception, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to various Business Unit (BU) clients. Ensure cost-effective, and organized deliveries through strategic planning and collaboration.
- Monitor end-to-end warehouse workflows, establish standard operating procedures, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Enable teams to operate efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with organizational standards in a dynamic, innovative program setting.
- Prepare contingency plans to address potential risks proactively and enhance accountability.
- Provide analytical insights on your sub-department’s performance to enable data-driven operations improvements.Participate in annual strategic planning and support the execution of departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree, in Business, Supply Chain Management, applied mathematics, or operations management.
- 4+ years FMCG, E-Commerce or warehouse management experience
- Experience with SAP ERP or related systems
- Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), as they will be used to analyze and presentdata, create reports, and make informed decisions.
- Experience setting strategic direction, managing projects from idea to implementation.
- English required in all locations. Other notable and useful languages is Swahili.
