DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER POSITION
Deliverance Church International Kasarani (Zimmerman) is looking for a Deputy Headteacher for its education ministry department, Cornerstone Academy and Junior School.
Job Purpose:
Reporting to Head Teacher he/she will be in charge of the Cornerstone Academy and assist in the administration, development, and implementation of the curriculum, policies, and programs. In the absence of the Head Teacher, the Deputy Head Teacher will be in charge of Cornerstone Academy or as may be directed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring high standards of discipline and coordination among teachers and students Teaching designated subjects
- Developing and improving the school learning environment Helping assess students’ needs and development
- Guiding to resolve challenges and conflicts for teachers and students.
- Using data to track students’ performance and produce reports.
- Be responsible for promoting the ethos, goals, and values of the school and ensuring effective communication with designated stakeholders.
- Observing and advancing teaching and learning systems and methods.
- Maintaining good rapport with parents as a form of good customer care service.
- Working hand in hand with the office of the head teacher in the running of the school
