About the 2025 Graduate Trainee Program
Our Graduate Trainee Program is designed to attract and develop the brightest minds in STEM fields. This is a full-time, onsite program based in our Nairobi office, providing structured training, hands-on projects, and exposure to multiple business functions. Trainees will engage in rotational assignments across different departments, gaining invaluable insights into Schneider Electric’s operations and contributing to real-world projects.
What You Will Do
As a Graduate Trainee, you will:
- Participate in structured training programs to develop technical and professional skills.
- Work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on industry insights.
- Engage in cross-functional projects and collaborate with both local and global teams.
- Contribute to various departments, including energy management, automation, and digital solutions.

Who Should Apply?
To be eligible for the program, applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering, Computer & Electrical Engineering).
- Have graduated (or be awaiting graduation) between September 2024 and December 2024.
- Provide proof of completion if awaiting graduation, including a letter from their university administration confirming coursework completion and expected class of graduation.
- Have a strong academic record with a minimum of a 2nd Class Upper Division or provide evidence that this will be their final classification.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work in Nairobi, Kenya.
- Demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
