We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef De Partie to join our Culinary team at Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-end hospitality, with extensive experience in large luxury hotel operations—preferably in the same role.
As a Chef De Partie, you will be a skilled and creative professional with a deep understanding of delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining the highest culinary standards in consistency, presentation, and flavor. Your role will involve supervising junior chefs, ensuring smooth kitchen operations, and upholding strict hygiene and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury five-star hotel or a world-class fine dining establishment.
- Strong expertise in international cuisine, with a focus on all-day dining concepts.
- Proven ability to execute high-quality dishes consistently while managing kitchen operations efficiently.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire junior chefs.
- Deep knowledge of food safety, HACCP standards, and kitchen hygiene protocols.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure seamless service.
- A culinary degree or equivalent professional certification from a recognized institution is preferred.
