A. OFFICE OF THE VICE-CHANCELLOR

1. Deputy Registrar (Council Secretariat) – Grade 14

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee smooth operations of all Council matters.
  • Advise the Council on administrative and academic matters.
  • Implement performance contracts and Quality Management Standards.
  • Manage Council meetings, correspondence, and records.
  • Facilitate Council members’ training and development.
  • Ensure strategic planning and policy implementation.

B. INTERNAL AUDIT DEPARTMENT

2. Auditor I – Grade 12

Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit assignments within the University.
  • Develop audit techniques and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with audit policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and appraise audit staff.

3. Audit Assistant – Grade 5/6 (2 Positions)

Responsibilities:

  • Examine financial records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing audit reports.
  • Support auditors in financial investigations.

C. DIRECTORATE OF INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

4. Systems Administrator – Grade 12

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee installation and maintenance of university IT systems.
  • Ensure network security and performance optimization.
  • Maintain internet and intranet server configurations.
  • Provide technical support for ICT operations.

D. PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT

5. Senior Procurement Officer – Grade 13

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement processes and staff management.

  • Coordinate procurement activities across departments.

E. PLANNING, RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

6. Clerk of Works – Grade 9/10

Responsibilities:

F. ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE

7. Senior Hostels Officer – Grade 13

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee hostel management and accommodation services.

8. Secretary – Grade 5/6 (5 Positions)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform clerical and administrative duties.
  • Handle correspondence and maintain office records.

G. HEALTH UNIT DEPARTMENT

9. Nursing Officer III – Grade 7/8

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to students and staff.
  • Manage health records and patient counseling.
  • Ensure availability of medical supplies.

H. ACADEMIC & STUDENT AFFAIRS DIVISION

10. Deputy Registrar (Academics) – Grade 14

Responsibilities:

I. SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES

11. Senior Lecturer (Clinical Medicine) – Grade 13

Responsibilities:

12. Lecturer (Clinical Medicine) – Grade 12 (2 Positions)

Responsibilities:

J. SCHOOL OF BUSINESS & ECONOMICS

13. Lecturer (Tourism) – Grade 12 (Re-advertisement)

Responsibilities:

14. Tutorial Fellow (Tourism) – Grade 11

Responsibilities:
