1. Senior Superintending Engineer (Civil) – CPSB 06 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 58,360 – 90,200 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop technical drawings as per work requests.
- Ensure housekeeping and maintenance adhere to safety standards.
- Maintain and service equipment and tools to operational standards.
- Verify accuracy of materials and equipment.
- Carry out scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on civil structures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety rules.
- Monitor systems performance and propose improvements.
- Prepare technical specifications and estimates for tenders.
2. Architect – CPSB 08 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 44,400 – 61,110 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare sketch and scheme designs.
- Interpret client requirements.
- Disseminate research findings on innovative processes and materials.
- Ensure proper post-contract administration.
3. Superintendent (Buildings) – CPSB 09 (6 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – 52,960 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction and maintenance works.
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Compile site weekly reports.
- Prepare cost estimates and schedules for materials.
4. Principal Physical Planner – CPSB 06 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 58,360 – 90,200 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor implementation of physical development plans.
- Provide advice on development proposals and control.
- Conduct thematic regional studies.
- Organize and oversee physical planning liaison committees.
- Prepare annual state of physical planning reports.
5. Physical Planner – CPSB 09 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – 52,960 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare physical development plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies on various characteristics.
- Implement physical plans at different levels.
- Process development applications.
6. GIS Expert/Cartographer – CPSB 09 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – 52,960 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draw survey and cadastral plans.
- Prepare topographical base maps.
- Revise base maps from aerial imagery.
7. Valuer – CPSB 09 (1 Post)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – 52,960 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect data for land valuation.
- Conduct market data analysis.
- Assist in apportioning rents and stamp duty valuation.
- Measure buildings for valuation purposes.
8. Environment Management Officer I – CPSB 09 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – 52,960 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement environmental management plans.
- Conduct environmental audits.
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
- Inspect waste generation and disposal.
9. Human Resource Management Officer I – CPSB 09 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – 52,960 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process documents on recruitment, payroll, and pension administration.
- Maintain an up-to-date human resource database.
- Implement HR decisions within regulations.
- Draft periodic HR reports.
10. Supply Chain Management Officer – CPSB 09 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – 52,960 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage store records and procurement documents.
- Oversee tender awards and supplier database.
- Implement security and safety procedures in stores.
- Conduct stock-taking activities.
11. Senior Accountant – CPSB 08 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 44,400 – 61,110 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports.
- Maintain public sector financial database.
- Verify and process payments and receipts.
- Keep custody of accounting records.
- Balance cash books daily.
12. Social Welfare Officer I – CPSB 09 (2 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – 52,960 per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mobilize communities for development projects.
- Handle grievance redress mechanisms.
- Guide communities in social-economic initiatives.
- Collect data for planning and program implementation.
