Management Trainee Positions
REF-ASK/MT/25/1 – MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (CIVIL ENGINEERING)
Position Scope: The successful candidate will report to the respective department/section managers and undergo structured training in civil engineering projects and management within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
- Participate in project management and resource allocation.
- Support implementation of engineering best practices and standards.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet required specifications.
Requirements:
- At least an Upper Second-Class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office and design software.
- Registered member of the Engineers Board of Kenya.
- Must have a clearance certificate from HELB.
- Must possess a valid certificate of good conduct.
REF-ASK/MT/25/2 – MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (PROCUREMENT)
Position Scope: The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training in procurement and supply chain management, working closely with senior managers to understand procurement processes and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in procurement planning and supplier evaluation.
- Support the implementation of procurement policies and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in contract management and vendor negotiations.
- Work with ERP systems for procurement and inventory management.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of procurement activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum Upper Second-Class Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or a related field.
- Membership in the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Strong financial, budgeting, and planning skills.
- A team player with excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Must possess a valid certificate of good conduct.
- Must have a clearance certificate from HELB.
