KCB Foundation Scholarship under the name 2Jiajiri programme is an enterprise development and wealth creation programme of the KCB Foundation. The objective of the programme is to create and support new and existing enterprises in the informal sector through vocational training, business development services and market linkages. The programme intends that the increasing expansion and formalisation of enterprises will create employment opportunities. The programme focusses on the following sectors:
- Agribusiness
- Automotive Engineering
- Beauty and Personal Care
- Building and Construction
- Domestic Services
Scholarship selection criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, all applicants must fulfill the criteria below:
- Have a National Identity Card
- Be able to read and write in Kiswahili and/or English.
- Commit to attending all training sessions in participating technical training institutions/vocational training centres in their county of residence.
- Must fulfill the criteria and be within one of the two categories (Business Owner or Apprentice).
- Must be willing to take up a National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) grade test certification.

2025 FEBRUARY 2JIAJIRI SCHOLARSHIP
KCB Foundation in partnership with Busia, Elgeyo Marakwet, Homabay, Kericho, Nyeri, Nandi, Siaya & Tharaka Nithi counties is offering scholarships at Grade 3 Level for vocational training courses, at the listed vocational centres.
The deadline of the application February 2025. Interviews will take place between 24th-28th February 2025 at the vocational centres.
Scholarship Selection Criteria
Eligibility: To qualify for the skills and enterprise development scholarship, all applicants must fulfill the criteria below:
- Be a resident of the listed counties.
- Be willing to undertake the training at any of the listed training Institutes.
- Have a National Identity Card
- Be able to read and write in Kiswahili and/or English
- Commit to attend all training sessions including industrial placement in their city/town of residence.
- Be within one of the three categories (Skiller, Apprentice, Business Owner)
