Position: Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive is responsible for increasing income and revenue by managing, negotiating, and meeting clients’ needs, generating leads, and qualifying prospects in open training, in-house training, general consultancies, and other related areas. If you are passionate about business growth, strategic sales, and customer relationship management, this position is perfect for you!

Main Responsibilities

  • Market and Sell Services:
    • Actively market and sell open training, consultancies, and in-house training programs to both potential and existing clients.
    • Develop strategic sales plans to maximize revenue and achieve targets.
  • Client Engagement and Meetings:
    • Initiate client and prospect meetings for new sales opportunities by scheduling and booking appointments.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster long-term business partnerships.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Interface with existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth.
    • Enhance relationship management for new and existing business to maintain and grow the customer base.
  • Presentations and Promotions:
    • Make compelling presentations to potential clients to promote new products and special deals.
    • Effectively communicate value propositions and competitive advantages to clients.
  • Market Intelligence and Feedback:
    • Conduct market intelligence and provide constant feedback on market trends, competition, and customer needs.
    • Utilize market insights to identify new business opportunities and drive strategic decisions.
  • Payment Collection and Account Management:
    • Ensure timely collection of payments from clients after successful service delivery.
    • Manage client accounts and maintain accurate records of transactions and communication.
  • Proposal Development and Sourcing New Business:
    • Develop consultancy proposals for potential assignments, ensuring alignment with client requirements and objectives.
    • Responsible for proposal development and strategic sourcing of new business opportunities.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to understand and address client needs effectively.
  • Marketing Skills: Proficiency in strategic marketing, promotion, and lead generation.
  • Report Writing: Strong report-writing skills for effective communication of progress and results.
  • Proposal Writing: Expertise in crafting compelling and tailored consultancy proposals.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities to engage and persuade clients.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related business field.
  • Work Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
