As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Intelligence Officer – Tender to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in sales performance monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and participation in tenders to support informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track and assess sales performance, providing actionable insights to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Tender Participation & Business Growth: Identify and bid for both electronic and manual tenders to drive business growth and expand the market base.
- Market & Product Analysis: Collect and analyze data to evaluate the viability of existing and new products and market segments, supporting strategic management decisions.
- Marketing Strategy Evaluation: Assess the impact of marketing strategies, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing effectiveness.
- Business Development & Sales Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports by analyzing data trends to guide business planning.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting: Provide input into demand planning and product forecasting to ensure alignment with client and market needs.
- Consumer Behavior & Market Trends Analysis: Study client product consumption patterns and emerging market trends to refine forecasting and product strategies.
- Competitor & Market Research: Conduct research on product portfolios, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform business strategies.
- Field Team Feedback Analysis: Collect and analyze feedback from the field team to enhance product offerings and refine management decisions.
- Rapid Results Initiatives (RRI) Tracking: Monitor the impact of RRIs on sales and quotation conversion, working closely with field officers and client relations teams.
- Regular Performance Reporting: Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance reports as per the marketing and business development plan.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics, or Economics with strong exposure to business statistical analysis.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a business development and marketing environment.
- Technical Competencies: Proficiency in data analysis, MS Office Suite, tender and quotation development, and market research.
- Functional Skills: Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Must be detail-oriented and uphold high integrity standards.
