Job Description:
As a Child Rights & Safeguarding Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the protection and promotion of children’s rights across Plan International’s programs in the region. You will work closely with program teams, partners, and stakeholders to strengthen child protection mechanisms and safeguard policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safeguarding policies and procedures in line with international standards.
- Conduct training sessions for staff and partners on child protection and safeguarding best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate safeguarding measures across programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Respond to and manage safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate actions are taken in compliance with policies.
- Support advocacy efforts to strengthen child rights frameworks within the region.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to enhance child protection initiatives.
Youth Advocacy Officer
Location: Global Hub – Location Flexible
Job Description:
The Youth Advocacy Officer will play a key role in advancing youth engagement and advocacy efforts within Plan International’s global programs. The role involves supporting young people to participate in decision-making processes and advocating for policies that promote youth empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement youth advocacy strategies that align with Plan International’s global objectives.
- Support youth-led initiatives, ensuring meaningful participation in policy discussions and program design.
- Build partnerships with youth organizations, networks, and relevant stakeholders to amplify youth voices.

Job Description:
The Interim Humanitarian Fundraising Project Lead will oversee fundraising efforts to support Plan International’s emergency response initiatives. The role involves securing funding from institutional donors, philanthropic partners, and private sector contributors to ensure effective humanitarian responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies for humanitarian programs.
- Engage with donors and funding agencies to secure financial support for emergency response efforts.
- Prepare high-quality funding proposals, grant applications, and donor reports.
- Coordinate with program teams to align fundraising efforts with humanitarian needs.

Deployable WASH in Emergencies Specialist

Job Description:
As a Deployable WASH in Emergencies Specialist, you will provide technical leadership in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions during humanitarian crises. You will work closely with emergency response teams to deliver life-saving WASH programs in disaster-affected areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of WASH programs in emergency settings.
- Provide technical expertise on water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion activities.
- Conduct rapid needs assessments to identify priority WASH interventions.
- Develop training materials and build the capacity of field teams and partners.
