Job Description: As a Biorepository Associate, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of ILRI’s biorepository facilities. You will play a key role in handling biological samples, ensuring proper storage, documentation, and retrieval. Additionally, you will support researchers by providing access to high-quality biological materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the organization, storage, and inventory of biological specimens.
- Ensure adherence to biosafety and biosecurity protocols.
- Support research teams in accessing and utilizing biorepository resources.
- Maintain accurate records of all stored materials and retrievals.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee the integrity of samples.
