Job Description
Security Guards will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of premises, personnel, and assets. They will be tasked with monitoring security systems, patrolling assigned areas, and responding to security incidents in a prompt and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or criminal activity.
- Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Respond swiftly to security breaches, alarms, or any suspicious activities.
- Provide assistance to employees, clients, and visitors to ensure safety and order.
- Operate security surveillance equipment and report any security concerns to supervisors.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken.

- Ensure compliance with company security protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations, medical incidents, or other crises.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for the Security Guard position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Provide two recent passport-sized photographs (taken within the last six months).
- Submit an original and photocopy of their National ID.
- Meet the required height standards (minimum of 5 feet 10 inches for men and 5 feet 8 inches for women).
- Possess a valid Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum grade of D- (original and a photocopy).
- Provide an original and photocopy of their Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
- Additional certifications in security-related fields are considered an advantage but are optional.
- Submit a valid Police Clearance Certificate issued within the last six months.
- Provide an original and photocopy of a valid NSSF card.
- Submit a photocopy of a valid SHA Universal Health ID.
- Provide an original and photocopy of a valid KRA PIN certificate.
- Provide a well-detailed handwritten Curriculum Vitae (CV) that includes the applicant’s postal address (with a valid postal code) and contact telephone numbers.
- Attach copies of previous employment recommendation letters or certificates, if available.
- Provide detailed sketch maps of both rural and urban residences.
- Submit a copy of their bank account details to facilitate salary payment.
