Key Responsibilities
As a Real Estate Research Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting real estate market research for site identification, site acquisition, and business case preparation.
- Collecting and analyzing data on sales trends, consumer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits in the real estate industry.
- Performing real estate financial modeling and data analysis to support investment decisions.
- Assisting with research on comparable properties sold in a specific area and identifying factors that may affect property value, such as title status, by maintaining an up-to-date database of property comparables.
- Coordinating with real estate agents to gather property photos, oversee staging, repairs, cleaning, signage, access requirements, and marketing activities, including property listings.
- Supporting property sales efforts through advertisements, participation in listing services, and assisting prospective clients in their purchasing journey.
- Organizing and assembling documents for presentations and meetings.
- Acting as a communication link between multiple departments, coordinating internal and external meetings, and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Tracking and reporting on various initiatives under the direction of the Research and Deal Origination team.
- Undertaking any additional tasks assigned from time to time.
