Position: Lecturer – School of Law
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must meet at least one of the following academic qualifications:
PhD in Law from a recognized/accredited university.
Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) with at least three (3) years of teaching, industry, or research experience and registration for a PhD in a relevant discipline.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lecturer, you will report to the Dean, School of Law and be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality lectures and tutorials at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Designing and updating course content to meet academic and professional standards.
- Administering Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs), examinations, and grading.
- Keeping up to date with advancements in the legal field and incorporating new knowledge into teaching methodologies.
- Guiding students in identifying research topics, concept development, proposal writing, and thesis supervision.
- Ensuring timely updating of student records, including attendance, assessment, and academic achievements in the Academic Management System.
- Identifying funding sources and participating in grant writing to advance the research agenda of the School.
- Publishing academic papers, attending, and presenting research at conferences, workshops, and professional seminars.
- Collaborating with local and international researchers to enhance academic and research linkages.
- Taking on administrative duties, such as leading academic programs, serving on committees, and contributing to the management of the School.
