Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Business Acquisition: Sourcing and procuring new business in line with set targets and budgets.
- Client Relationship Management: Initiating and maintaining strong business relationships with both existing and potential clients.
- Customer Service: Addressing client and customer inquiries and feedback within the timelines outlined in the service charter and signed SLAs.
- Risk Performance Review: Evaluating and analyzing risks through loss ratio reports for both new and existing business.
- Premium Collection Support: Assisting in premium collection to ensure smooth financial transactions.
- Market Intelligence: Preparing weekly and monthly reports detailing business performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Coastal Market Expertise: Utilizing your in-depth knowledge of the coastal insurance market to drive business growth.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrating a strong understanding of Life Insurance products, including Group & Credit Life, Pensions, and Annuity lines of business.
- Intermediary Collaboration: Building and maintaining relationships with coast-based intermediaries such as brokers, agents, and bank agents to establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
