Position: Aqua Data Analyst

Victory Farms is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Aqua Data Analyst to join our team. This critical role involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to ensure operational efficiency, optimize production processes, and support decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with multiple departments to manage data systems, track performance metrics, and provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities
Data Management & Entry
- Accurately input, manage, and analyze data within the Aqua Manager system.
- Utilize various data capture tools to ensure accurate data collection across all aquaculture operations.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources, including lake logistics, aqua feeding, and hatchery operations.
- Maintain a secure and well-organized inventory of records while implementing robust data backup procedures.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze production and lake logistics datasets to uncover trends and optimize operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in production and logistics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop interactive dashboards, data visualizations, and comprehensive reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Respond to ad-hoc data queries with timely and efficient analysis.
Performance Monitoring & Improvement
- Conduct regular performance assessments of production and logistics operations, proactively identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
- Organize and lead periodic data review meetings to assess data quality and evaluate key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in data management and analytics.
- Ensure consistent monitoring of water quality parameters, including dissolved oxygen, temperature, and secchi disk readings, with accurate recording and reporting.
System Integration & Development
- Support the ongoing improvement and integration of Victory Farms’ core data analytics systems.
- Identify and implement new data analysis tools and techniques to enhance data-driven insights.
