KENYA POWER INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT OPPORTUNITIES (MAY – JULY 2025 INTAKE)
Kenya Power is committed to youth empowerment by providing students with hands-on industrial attachment opportunities. These attachments will help students gain practical work experience and develop key employability skills essential for their career growth.
We invite continuing students to apply for the May – July 2025 intake. This program runs for a maximum of three (3) months and provides opportunities across various departments.
AVAILABLE ATTACHMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Kenya Power offers attachment opportunities in the following categories:
1. Bachelor’s Degree Attachment

Programs Available:
- Technical Fields (Engineering, IT, etc.)
- Non-Technical Fields (Finance, HR, Procurement, etc.)
Job Description:
- Gain hands-on experience in the respective field of study.
- Work under the supervision of experienced professionals.
- Assist in projects and departmental operations.
- Learn and apply industry best practices.
- Support in data analysis, research, and administrative tasks where applicable.
2. Diploma Attachment

Job Description:
- Participate in practical training within the assigned department.
- Assist in routine operations and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Engage in research and analysis under supervision.
- Support the team with documentation and reporting tasks.
- Apply academic knowledge to real-world industry scenarios.
3. Craft Certificate Attachment

- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Power Option)
- Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
- Building & Civil Engineering
- Plumbing
Job Description:
- Assist in field operations, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Work alongside skilled technicians to understand industry procedures.
- Participate in safety training and compliance activities.
- Support in basic installation and troubleshooting exercises.
- Gain exposure to hands-on tasks related to the respective craft program.
REQUIREMENTS
Interested candidates must:
- Be available for the full three-month period (May – July 2025).
- Be a continuing student pursuing a Degree, Diploma, or Craft Certificate in the specified fields.
- Have a valid introduction letter from their learning institution.
