The Government of the Republic of Kenya (GoK) has partnered with international financial institutions, including the German Development Bank (KfW), the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the European Union – Africa Infrastructure Trust Fund (EU-AITF), to fund a major highway road construction project. This initiative is expected to enhance Kenya’s infrastructure, stimulate economic growth, and create employment opportunities for local communities.

As part of this initiative, a portion of the funding has been dedicated to supporting Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) for unemployed youth. This scholarship program aims to equip young people with essential technical and vocational skills to improve their employability and financial independence. Through fully funded training programs, beneficiaries will receive both practical and theoretical education in high-demand fields such as electrical installation, plumbing, masonry, welding, and motor vehicle mechanics, among others.

The KeNHA TVET Scholarship is a significant opportunity for Kenyan youth, particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The program not only provides access to free technical education but also offers a monthly subsistence allowance to support beneficiaries during their training.

It also serves as a stepping stone for self-employment, enabling graduates to start their own businesses or secure gainful employment in various sectors.

If you are between 18 and 35 years old, have at least a KCPE certificate, and are eager to gain hands-on skills for a better future, this scholarship is an excellent opportunity for you. Apply today and take the first step towards a successful career in the technical and vocational field.
