Your Role – Where Magic Happens!
As the Head of Supply Chain & CDX – East Africa, you will be at the forefront of logistics, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This role requires a dynamic leader to manage distribution, customer delivery experiences, order management, and transportation while ensuring high standards in supply and demand planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Supply Chain & Logistics Processes
- Oversee the 3PL (third-party logistics) distribution center, ensuring smooth operations in warehousing, transportation, and customer delivery experience.
- Define and implement the logistics framework, delivery action plans, and proactive customer dashboards, collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams across multiple countries.
- Manage transactional, project, and service logistics scopes within East Africa.
3PL Operations Management
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across 3PL operations, enforcing Schneider Electric’s policies and reporting any incidents or near misses.
- Take responsibility for inventory control, warehouse performance, quality management, and overall profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
- Implement and oversee logistics processes and procedures aligned with Schneider Electric SPS principles.
Customer Satisfaction & Logistics Quality
- Address and resolve customer complaints and escalate issues related to delivery and service fulfillment.
- Analyze customer feedback and surveys to develop and implement improvement strategies (CSLD – Customer Satisfaction & Logistics Development).
- Ensure proactive issue resolution using warm loop and 8D cold loop methodologies, collaborating with CS&Q (Customer Satisfaction & Quality) teams.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Lead and promote quality programs such as 8D, Lean Six Sigma, and Schneider Production System (SPS) to enhance supply chain performance.
- Consolidate and manage key performance indicators (Non-Quality Costs, DCR, service levels OTDS, OTC, BOL, and AC2 follow-up) to drive continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in SIM cycles to contribute to the overall entity performance.

- Ability to execute logistics tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and security standards.
- Expertise in logistics planning and execution, with a focus on timely delivery and cost management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Proficiency in logistics software, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and high-quality service delivery.
- High level of resilience and adaptability to evolving market conditions and business needs.
