Introduction The Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA) is a State Corporation established under the National Treasury pursuant to the Unclaimed Financial Assets Act No. 40 of 2011. UFAA’s primary mandate is to receive, safeguard, and reunite unclaimed financial assets with their rightful owners on behalf of the Government.
To enhance its leadership team and ensure the effective fulfillment of its mandate, UFAA is seeking to recruit a competent, results-oriented, knowledgeable, visionary, and experienced professional for the position of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Trustee.

Job Profile
The Chief Executive Officer & Managing Trustee shall be responsible to the Board of Directors and serve as an ex-officio member of the Board. The CEO will oversee the day-to-day management of the Authority, ensuring the effective implementation of its mandate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement UFAA’s strategic plans to ensure the fulfillment of its mandate.
- Provide strategic leadership in the administration and enforcement of the Unclaimed Financial Assets Act.
- Foster a positive organizational culture aligned with the Authority’s vision, mission, and values.
- Ensure the prudent management of financial and human resources within the Authority.
- Spearhead innovation and digitization to enhance efficiency in service delivery.
- Represent the Authority in engagements with stakeholders, including the Government, financial institutions, and the public.
- Drive public awareness initiatives to ensure the rightful owners reclaim their assets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Oversee risk management and internal controls to safeguard unclaimed financial assets.
- Report to the Board and provide regular updates on the Authority’s performance, challenges, and opportunities.
