Our client, a well-established financial institution in Kenya, is seeking a highly qualified Senior Driver.
The Senior Driver will work in the assigned operational unit as directed by the Line Manager and is responsible for overseeing and ensuring safe transportation of staff, goods and people in the organization’s assigned vehicles.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe driving of Organization’s vehicles and comfort for passengers.
- Daily cleaning and inspection of motor vehicles.
- Comply with traffic rules and regulations.
- Diagnosis and minor repair of motor vehicles.
- Deliver vehicles for service/repair and confirm that the job is done properly on collection.
- Ensure the safety of motor vehicles outside workstations.
- Report accidents /incidents promptly.
- Maintain good working relationships with customers and service providers.
- Any other roles and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) D+ (Plus).
- For Driver/Mechanic – Trade Test III.
- Possession of a valid class J or Class A Driving license, or class B, C and E.
Work Experience
- At least five (5) years driving experience.
- Experience in close protection or security driving is an added advantage.
