Job Description
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is recruiting an Administrative Assistant to support the Programme Management and Administration Unit (PMAU) within the Climate Change Division. This role involves handling administrative and human resource functions to ensure smooth operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and personnel support.
- Oversee procurement processes and maintain financial records.
- Manage scheduling, correspondence, and documentation.
- Maintain and update human resource records and contracts.
- Assist in the coordination of meetings, workshops, and travel arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with UN policies and procedures.
- Support data analytics and reporting activities.
Competencies Required
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply UN human resources policies.
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft, ERP, or related HR management systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within an international organization is an advantage.
