Internal Auditor – Job Group EITC 6
Job Description:
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Develop audit plans, execute audit programs, and report findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and institutional policies.
- Provide recommendations to improve financial accountability and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development of risk assessment frameworks and fraud prevention measures.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Must hold a CPA (K) Certificate.
- Member of ICPAK in good standing.
- Membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA-K) in good standing.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an audit function, preferably in a learning institution.
- Age requirement: 35-45 years.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of financial reporting and risk management principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya requirements.
Procurement Officer – Job Group EITC 6
Job Description:
- Manage procurement and supplies processes in accordance with Public Procurement and Assets Disposal Act and related regulations.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining transparency and compliance with institutional policies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure the institution gets value for money.
- Work closely with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Diploma in Procurement and Supplies Management.
- Must be a member of KISM.
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, policies, and standards.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to procurement management.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a procurement role.
- Age requirement: 35-45 years.
- Must meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya requirements.
Store Keeper – Job Group EITC 4
Job Description:
- Maintain an updated inventory of all supplies and materials in the institution.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and issuance of stock while minimizing losses and wastage.
- Monitor stock levels and make procurement recommendations when necessary.
- Keep records of stock movements and prepare reports on inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to procurement procedures and stock management guidelines.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Diploma in Supplies Management or Store Keeping II or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in computer applications, especially inventory management software.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position.
- Clean past working record with proven integrity.
- Age requirement: 18-45 years.
- Must meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya requirements.
Librarian – Job Group EITC 6
Job Description:
- Oversee the daily operations of the institution’s library and ensure efficient information access for students and staff.
- Manage library resources, including acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of books and other materials.
- Implement digital literacy programs to enhance research and learning.
- Assist students and staff in finding academic resources for research and studies.
- Ensure adherence to library policies and procedures.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Diploma in Library and Information Science or an equivalent course from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of IT and digital literacy is essential.
- Must be a member of a relevant professional body.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a library management role.
- Strong organizational and research skills.
- Age requirement: 18-45 years.
- Must meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya requirements.
Driver (2 Posts) – Job Group EITC 3
Job Description:
- Ensure safe and efficient transportation of staff, students, and official goods.
- Maintain the institution’s vehicles, ensuring regular servicing and cleanliness.
- Adhere to traffic laws and institutional policies regarding transportation.
- Report any mechanical faults to the administration for timely maintenance.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs, including mileage records and fuel consumption.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- KCSE D+ level of education or above.
- Valid driving license for classes D1, D2, D3, or Class A.
- Defensive Driving Certificate from a recognized institution.
- Valid PSV license and Public Works Suitability Test certification.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role within a learning institution.
- Possession of a Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Basic vehicle mechanical skills will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of NTSA regulations and traffic laws.
- Age requirement: 30-50 years.
- Must meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya requirements.
