We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Staff Assistant to join the UNEP Executive Office in Nairobi. This position will serve as a Personal Assistant to the Chief of Staff, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Executive Office. Key Responsibilities
As a Staff Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Administrative Support: Providing comprehensive personal assistance to the Chief of Staff, managing schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Correspondence Management: Drafting, reviewing, and handling communications, ensuring proper documentation and filing systems are maintained.
- Meeting Coordination: Organizing high-level meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes to ensure effective follow-ups on key action points.
- Liaison and Coordination: Acting as a central point of contact between the Chief of Staff, senior officials, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Information Management: Maintaining confidentiality while handling sensitive information and facilitating efficient document flow.
- Event and Logistics Support: Assisting in the planning and execution of events, workshops, and conferences.
- General Office Administration: Ensuring office supplies and resources are well-stocked and operations run efficiently.
- Other Duties: Performing additional administrative tasks as required to support the Executive Office.
