Job Description: The interns will be placed in various departments within the County Government of Nyandarua, where they will gain hands-on experience in their respective fields.
The internship program is designed to provide a learning opportunity to young graduates and enhance their skills, knowledge, and work readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily departmental operations as assigned by supervisorsParticipate in training and mentorship programs provided within the county departmentsSupport administrative and technical teams in executing county projects and programsConduct research and data collection to support departmental functionsPrepare reports and documentation related to assigned tasksPerform any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor
Orthopaedic Surgeon (Re-advertisement) – 1 Position
The Orthopaedic Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with musculoskeletal disorders. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving the health services offered within the county health facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and diagnosing orthopaedic conditionsPerforming surgical and non-surgical treatments for musculoskeletal disordersProviding consultation and medical advice to patients with bone, joint, and muscle conditionsManaging post-operative care and rehabilitation programs for patientsSupervising and mentoring junior medical staff, including interns and medical officersKeeping accurate medical records and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and policiesParticipating in medical outreach programs and health education initiatives within the countyCollaborating with other healthcare professionals to improve service delivery and patient care
