DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES

1. Radiographer III – Job Group ‘H’ (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide radiographic services to patients.
  • Process, verify, and maintain patient information.
  • Order and manage radiographic and photographic supplies.

2. Medical Engineering Technologist – Job Group ‘H’ (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs of hospital equipment and facilities.
  • Perform minor facility repairs and maintain utilities.
  • Maintain inventory of hospital equipment and furniture.
  • Order spare parts and consumables.
  • Compile data for research and reporting.
  • Support implementation of medical engineering programs.

3. Medical Engineer – Job Group ‘K’ (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement medical engineering programs and projects.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of hospital equipment.
  • Provide technical support and specifications for equipment and parts.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory and data systems related to medical engineering.

4. Pharmaceutical Technologist I – Job Group ‘H’ (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Dispense and compound medications.
  • Manage pharmaceutical services in the absence of a pharmacist.
  • Provide pharmaceutical care services in healthcare settings.

5. Mortuary Attendant / Mortician – Job Group ‘E’ (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect and receive bodies as per set procedures.
  • Record and maintain mortuary documentation.
  • Wash, embalm, and refrigerate bodies.
  • Assist in post-mortem procedures.
  • Provide grief counseling to families.
  • Release bodies to relatives per procedure.

6. Orthopedic Trauma Technician II – Job Group ‘H’ (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpret radiological images.
  • Perform minor orthopedic procedures and trauma management.
  • Apply and remove casts, bandages, and external fixators.
  • Conduct community sensitization and counseling for orthopedic patients.

7. Registered Clinical Officer I (Anesthetist) – Job Group ‘K’ (3 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat common conditions.
  • Administer anesthesia during procedures.
  • Offer guidance and counseling on health issues.
  • Refer patients and prepare medico-legal reports.
  • Engage in community health outreach.

Duties and Responsibilities

DEPARTMENT OF LANDS, PHYSICAL PLANNING & URBAN DEVELOPMENT

1. Support Staff – Job Group ‘C’ (15 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain streets, drains, and sanitary facilities.
  • Collect and load refuse into garbage trucks.
  • Maintain working tools and equipment.
  • Clear bushes and perform related manual duties.

DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND DEVOLUTION

1. Principal Education Officer – Job Group ‘N’ (3 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate education programs in the sub-county.
  • Implement strategic plans and prepare progress reports.
  • Offer technical support to stakeholders in education.
  • Promote awareness in Early Childhood, Home Craft, and Technical Training.
  • Conduct capacity building and provide resource materials.
  • Compile reports, identify challenges, and promote innovative practices.
  • Link with central government and develop sub-county resource centers.
  • Submit regular performance and expenditure reports.

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT, PUBLIC WORKS, INFRASTRUCTURE & ENERGY

1. Assistant Engineer II (Structural) – Job Group ‘K’ (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and prepare structural drawings.
  • Supervise construction of civil works on simple projects.

2. Assistant Engineer II (Mechanical BS) – Job Group ‘K’ (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical systems in public facilities.
  • Oversee repair and maintenance of mechanical installations.

3. Building Inspectors – Job Group ‘H’ (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpret engineering drawings.
  • Supervise minor building repairs and alterations.

4. Road Inspectors – Job Group ‘H’ (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise road works within designated areas.
  • Identify and evaluate materials for road projects.
  • Assist in preparing road work programs.

5. Inspector, Fire Services – Job Group ‘H’ (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain fire safety installations in public institutions.

6. Electrical Technician – Job Group ‘H’ (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain electrical systems in public buildings.
  • Maintain electrical controls for safety and domestic appliances.
  • Manage electrical systems in power plants and other installations.

Remuneration and Terms

  • Remuneration: As per Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) guidelines
  • Terms of Employment: Three (3) Year Contract
