Main Purpose of the Job
This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging, accurate, and informative content across multiple communication channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and marketing collateral such as product sheets and presentations. This content will support community relations and effectively promote KENET’s initiatives.
Requirements for the Job
The ideal candidate shall have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Marketing and Communications, Public Relations, Media or related field from a recognized university. With 5 years of professional experience in implementing communication activities; experience working in a large educational institution will be preferred.
In addition, the candidate should be proficient in systems such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Premier Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, content management systems and social media platforms.
The candidate must have demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, high ethical and moral standards and be capable of working in teams with limited supervision. Registration with the relevant professional body shall be an added advantage.
