We are launching daily news segments, two exciting weekly TV shows, and three engaging weekly podcasts, and we need creative and dedicated team members to make it happen.

General Qualifications:
- Must be a USIU-Africa student from the School of Communication, Cinematic and Creative Arts (SCCCA) or pursuing Journalism as a minor.
- If you decide to join the team, you will be required to pick Journalism as a minor.
- Commitment to work with USIU-Africa TV and Podcasting for one year.
USIU-AFRICA TV
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. News Anchors (2):
- Present daily news segments with professionalism and clarity.
- Research and write news stories.
- Conduct interviews and report on various events.
- Qualification: Strong communication skills, experience in public speaking or journalism.
2. Reporters (4):
- Gather and verify information for news stories.
- Conduct interviews and provide on-the-ground coverage.
- Write and edit news reports for broadcast.
- Qualification: Excellent research and writing skills, ability to work under pressure.
3. Producers (2):
- Plan and coordinate daily news segments and weekly shows.
- Oversee the production process from start to finish.
- Ensure content meets quality and editorial standards.
- Qualification: Experience in media production, strong organizational skills.
4. Camera Operators (3):
- Operate cameras during live broadcasts and recordings.
- Set up and maintain camera equipment.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to achieve the desired visual style.
- Qualification: Technical proficiency with camera equipment, attention to detail.
5. Editors (2):
- Edit video footage for news segments and TV shows.
- Ensure smooth transitions and high-quality visuals.
- Work with producers to meet deadlines and content standards.
- Qualification: Proficiency in video editing software, creative eye for detail.
6. Writers (2):
- Create scripts for news segments and TV shows.
- Develop engaging and informative content.
- Collaborate with anchors, reporters, and producers.
- Qualification: Strong writing skills, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
7. Directors (2):
- Lead the creative vision for news segments and TV shows.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage the technical aspects of broadcasts.
- Qualification: Leadership skills, experience in directing or media production.
8. Social Media Managers (2):
- Promote USIU-Africa TV content on various social media platforms.
- En.gage with the audience and respond to feedback.
- Develop strategies to increase viewership and engagement.
- Qualification: Knowledge of social media platforms, marketing skills.
9. Head of Programming (1):
- Develop and manage the overall programming schedule.
- Ensure a diverse and engaging lineup of shows.
- Coordinate with producers and directors to maintain quality standards.
- Qualification: Experience in programming or media management, strategic planning skills.
10. Head of TV (1):
- Oversee all operations of USIU TV.
- Lead the team and ensure smooth execution of all broadcasts.
- Manage budgets, resources, and strategic planning.
- Qualification: Leadership experience, strong organizational and management skills.
11.Head of Audio-Visual (1):
- Oversee all audio-visual operations.
- Lead the audio-visual team and ensure high-quality content.
- Manage audio-visual schedules and strategic planning.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in an IT or AV-related field, experience in audio-visual management, leadership skills.
USIU-AFRICA PODCAST TEAM
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Head of Podcast (1):
- Oversee all podcast operations.
- lead the podcast team and ensure high-quality content.
- Manage podcast schedules and strategic planning.
- Qualification: Experience in podcasting, leadership skills.
2. Podcast Hosts (3):
- Host and present weekly podcast episodes.
- Research and prepare content for each episode.
- Conduct interviews and engage with guests.
- Qualification: Strong communication skills, experience in hosting or public speaking.
3. Podcast Producers (2):
- Plan and coordinate podcast episodes.
- Oversee the production process from start to finish.
- Ensure content meets quality and editorial standards.
- Qualification: Experience in podcast production, organizational skills.
4. Podcast Editors (2):
- Edit audio recordings for podcast episodes.
- Ensure high-quality sound and smooth transitions.
- Work with producers to meet deadlines and content standards.
- Qualification: Proficiency in audio editing software, attention to detail.
