1. Medical Officers – 10 Posts (Job Group M)
Medical Officers will be responsible for delivering general clinical services across county health facilities. This includes diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients in line with national health guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical examinations and making medical diagnoses.
- Prescribing treatment and medication based on patient evaluations.
- Overseeing the care and rehabilitation of patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.

- Carrying out tooth extractions, fillings, and cleaning.
- Advising patients on oral hygiene and preventative care practices.
- Maintaining patient dental records and inventory of dental supplies.

3. Pharmacists – 2 Posts (Job Group M)
Pharmacists will provide pharmaceutical services including the procurement, storage, dispensing, and rational use of medicines and other health commodities.

- Dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications accurately.
- Monitoring patients’ drug therapies to avoid interactions and ensure efficacy.
- Ensuring proper storage and security of drugs and supplies.

4. Registered Clinical Officers III – 23 Posts (Job Group H)
These officers will support the implementation of primary healthcare through diagnostic and curative services at various levels of care.

- Examining, diagnosing, and treating patients in clinics and hospitals.
- Performing minor surgical procedures and emergency response care.
- Administering prescribed medication and therapies.

5. Pharmaceutical Technologists III – 10 Posts (Job Group H)
The Pharmaceutical Technologist will work under the supervision of Pharmacists to ensure efficient and safe pharmaceutical practices.

- Assisting in dispensing and preparing medications.
- Ordering, receiving, and issuing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Compounding extemporaneous preparations where necessary.

6. Orthopaedic Trauma Technologist III – 1 Post (Job Group H)
The Orthopaedic Trauma Technologist will be responsible for providing technical support in orthopedic procedures and rehabilitation.

- Assisting orthopedic surgeons in setting fractures and dislocations.
- Applying and removing plaster casts and traction systems.
- Educating patients and families on the use of orthopedic devices.

7. Medical Laboratory Technologists III – 12 Posts (Job Group H)
Medical Lab Technologists will be instrumental in performing diagnostic laboratory procedures to support treatment decisions.

- Collecting, labeling, and analyzing specimens including blood, urine, and tissues.
- Operating laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, and analyzers.
- Ensuring laboratory safety standards and protocols are followed.

8. Registered Nurses / Midwives III – 9 Posts (Job Group G)
Registered Nurses/Midwives will play a vital role in providing nursing and midwifery services to inpatients and outpatients across health facilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offering nursing care including monitoring patient vitals and administering medications.
- Supporting maternal and child health through antenatal, delivery, and postnatal services.
- Assisting in patient assessments and discharge planning.

9. Enrolled Nurses III – 5 Posts (Job Group G)
Enrolled Nurses will offer general nursing support in both clinical and community health settings.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in basic patient care including hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
- Administering oral and injectable medications under supervision.
- Providing support in patient admission and discharge processes.
- Documenting patient observations and activities of daily living.
- Offering health education during outreach programs and clinics.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in delivering patient-centered care.
