Adjunct Faculty-International Relations
USIU-Africa is looking for dedicated and experienced Adjunct Lecturers to join the Department of International Relations. The ideal candidates should have expertise in the following areas of specialization Foreign Policy and Diplomacy; Peace and Conflict; and Development Studies.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks/Duties:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures and seminars at undergraduate/graduate level in the specific areas of specialization
- Design and update curricula to align with emerging events in international relations
- Supervise graduate Research.
- Support and mentor students in their career endeavors.
- Participate in program assessment and reviews.
- Engage in research in one’s area of expertise.
- Engage in service to the University, the profession and the community.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience
- PhD in International Relations or Political Science or any other relevant qualification
- At least 3 years of university teaching or industry experience.
- Skills in the use of digital technology in teaching and learning is an added advantage
