Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate culinary competence, food hygiene awareness, and the ability to work under pressure, especially during high-demand periods such as training sessions and institutional events.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide variety of Kenyan and international meals based on provided menus.
- Ensure hygienic food preparation, handling, and storage in compliance with public health standards.
- Assist in menu development and portion control in line with dietary guidelines.
- Monitor food stock levels and report replenishment needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
- Collaborate with other cooks and kitchen staff for timely and efficient meal service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Food and Beverage Production from a recognized institution.
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum grade of D+ (Plus).
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate from a certified public health officer.
2. Gardeners – 2 Positions
Job Overview:
Gardeners will be responsible for the upkeep of the institution’s green spaces. These include lawns, flowerbeds, trees, and recreational areas. The role is essential for creating a clean, attractive, and eco-friendly learning environment.

- Sweep, mop, and scrub institutional premises including tiled surfaces, corridors, and staircases.
- Clean washrooms, sinks, mirrors, and lavatory areas multiple times daily.

9. Secretaries – 3 Positions
Job Overview:
Secretaries will provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth departmental operations. This includes managing correspondence, filing records, and facilitating office coordination.

- Prepare and manage official documentation such as letters, memos, and minutes.
- Maintain filing systems—both digital and physical—for administrative departments.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure availability of meeting rooms.
- Receive, sort, and route institutional correspondence.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Craft Certificate or Diploma in Secretarial Studies from a recognized institution.
- KCSE Certificate or its equivalent.
