This apprenticeship opportunity provides a well-rounded training experience that blends theoretical knowledge, hands-on practice, and professional development to produce highly competent automotive technicians.

Program Overview
The CFAO Mobility Apprenticeship Program is structured to ensure apprentices gain comprehensive technical skills and practical experience in line with global automotive service standards. Upon successful completion of the program, apprentices are expected to demonstrate the ability to:
- Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles sold and serviced by CFAO Mobility Kenya.
- Conduct detailed inspections and undertake basic mechanical, electrical, and electronic system repairs.
- Prepare, interpret, and explain technical service reports effectively.
Training Methodology
The program employs a blended learning model that includes:
- Classroom-based training to build strong foundational knowledge.
- E-learning modules for flexible and continuous learning.
- Hands-on practical training in real workshop environments.
- On-the-Job Training (OJT), where trainees are coached and mentored by certified CFAO Mobility Technicians.
- Personal development sessions to build soft skills, confidence, and a professional mindset.
This holistic approach ensures that each apprentice is industry-ready and equipped with the skills needed to excel in a competitive and dynamic automotive environment.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the apprenticeship program, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- KCSE mean grade of C+ (plus) or higher.
- Minimum grade C in English, Mathematics, and Physics.
- Must have successfully completed and passed all modules of a Certificate or Diploma in Engineering.
- Prior working experience in the automotive industry is an added advantage.
- Applicants must be 27 years of age or younger.
Program Duration and Placement
The apprenticeship runs for a period of two years, offered on an annual contract basis, subject to satisfactory trainee performance. Upon successful completion, and depending on the availability of opportunities, apprentices may be deployed to any of CFAO Mobility Kenya’s branches across the country.
