1. Medical Officer In-Charge

Location: Nairobi
Reports to: Executive Management

Job Description:
As the Medical Officer In-Charge, you will serve as the medical superintendent of the hospital, responsible for the overall planning, organization, supervision, and coordination of all medical services. You will lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, ensuring compliance with medical standards and the delivery of high-quality healthcare. This role also includes oversight of the pharmacy, laboratory, and imaging departments. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement and foster a collaborative medical culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all clinical operations and ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols
  • Lead the implementation of medical quality initiatives and compliance with regulatory guidelines

Job Description:
This position is responsible for the safe and effective administration of anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The Clinical Officer Anaesthetist will monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure their safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patients’ medical histories
  • Administer anesthesia safely during surgeries and monitor vital signs
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and manage recovery
  • Document all anesthesia procedures and patient outcomes
