Agroforestry Training Centre (ATC) Officer – Kitale, Kenya
Location: Vi Agroforestry Kenya Country Office, Kitale

Position Summary:
Vi Agroforestry is looking to recruit an experienced Agroforestry Training Centre (ATC) Officer who will be responsible for managing and coordinating all activities at the Agroforestry Training Centre in Kitale. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainable agriculture and training facilitation, with a passion for empowering communities through practical and impactful learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver training programs in agroforestry, sustainable agriculture, and environmental conservation.
- Develop and update training curricula and materials based on evolving sector needs and best practices.
- Organize capacity-building workshops, field visits, and demonstrations for farmer organizations and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of training sessions, documenting lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Agroforestry Training Centre, including logistics, budgeting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure synergy and knowledge exchange.
- Promote the use of the Training Centre as a regional hub for innovation, knowledge sharing, and policy dialogue.
