Summary of Role Purpose & Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating communication and advertising strategies to ensure effective and consistent messaging both internally and externally. The role is essential in maintaining a positive image of the bank, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and effectively conveying the bank’s mission, values, and achievements.
Key deliverables:
· Effecting and Impactful communication within established SLAs, quality standards
· Brand Strength through strategic communications
· Effective and impactful advertising
· Effective risk management through communications
Qualifications
1. A bachelor’s degree in media studies, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field.
2. Must have at least 2 years of demonstrable experience in social media management and advertising, gained either through an agency or within a competitive corporate environment.
3. Must have a strong and current understanding of the advertising landscape, industry best practices, value proposition, and effective methodologies for collaborating with advertising agencies and various media channels.
4. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
5. Must be a proactive and hands-on individual with a proven ability to identify emerging trends within the communications and advertising sectors.
6. Must have strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build consensus, consult effectively, influence decisions, and navigate trade-offs with various internal and external partners.
7. Proven ability to develop compelling business cases for advertising initiatives, negotiate effectively with vendors and partners, and influence positive results.
8. Passionate about advertising and bring a unique and valuable skillset to enhance the company’s existing knowledge and capabilities in this area.
