Current Job Opening: Assistant Brand Manager
Location: Nairobi
Reports To: Category Manager
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly motivated Assistant Brand Manager to support the development and execution of innovative brand initiatives. This role will play a key part in maintaining HACO’s competitive edge in the FMCG space by managing marketing strategies, supporting campaigns, and driving brand engagement across all touchpoints.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and brand plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product Development, Finance) and external partners to ensure consistency and alignment with brand objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Support the execution of promotional campaigns, both online and offline.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on brand performance using relevant metrics and tools.
- Help develop marketing collateral including packaging, digital creatives, in-store materials, and PR assets.
- Manage supplier and agency relationships to ensure timely delivery of branding projects.
- Identify emerging industry trends and recommend initiatives to maintain brand relevance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least three (3) years of experience in brand management or a related marketing role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data in decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A creative thinker with attention to detail and a solid grasp of branding principles.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.
