Position Title: Sales Intern
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Intern to join our team in Kenya. This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in sales and marketing within the fast-paced consumer goods industry. The Sales Intern will work closely with our sales team, gaining valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of sales operations, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives.
- Participate in customer visits and sales meetings to gain insights into customer needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Support the sales team in daily administrative tasks, including data entry, report generation, and order processing.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong passion for sales and marketing, with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Prior internship experience in sales or marketing is a plus, but not required.
